Forage: Identify+Ingest presents a streamlined method for identifying wild plants and preparing them for consumption. The handbook uses a system of illustrations and color-coded tabs and icons to teach even the most unaware users how to utilize nature's bounty.

Forage itemizes a plant’s anatomy into six color-coded components: root, stalk, seeds, fruit, leaves and flowers. The book’s features include tabs based on said colors with preparation instructions, plant illustrations accompanied by color-coded callouts with nutrition information and useful tips, seasonality and average height graphs and icons for both safety warnings and environment types.
